Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)
This federal small business loan program supports small businesses’ recovery from the COVID-19 disaster’s economic impacts by providing accessible and borrower-friendly capital.
Emerging Business Loan Fund Program (EBLF)
The purpose of the EBLF is to originate commercial loans that support high impact businesses and projects with the potential to increase economic activity in San Francisco as well as create jobs for low to moderate income individuals.
Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC)
The ERTC is a refundable tax credit that rewards businesses up to $33,000 per employee.

Payroll Tax Exclusion
The Central Market/Tenderloin Payroll Tax Exclusion (CMTPTE) exempts businesses located within the defined exclusion area from additional payroll tax as they add jobs during any six years in an eight-year period.
San Francisco First Year Free
The program waives the cost of initial registration fees, initial license fees, first-year permit, and other applicable fees for qualifying businesses. There is no extra paperwork to apply – enrollment is automatic when you register as a new business or new location with the City.

Get free design services to help with storefront improvements.
SF Small Business Grant for Accessibility Improvements
This grant will pay for an inspection of a storefront from a Certified Access Specialist or licensed architect and help small businesses required by landlords to comply with the San Francisco Accessible Business Entrance program.
SF Small Business Recovery Loan Fund
SF small businesses can apply for 0% interest loans of up to $100,000. The program is administered through the California Rebuilding Fund in partnership with KIVA and local Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs).

Get up to $2,000 in financial relief to restore and repair damages from vandalism for your storefront business.
